Quorum Initiates Three More “Next Generation” Integration Points under General Motors IDMS Program

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(EMWNews – Aug. 22, 2008) – Quorum Information Technologies Inc. (Quorum) (TSX VENTURE:QIS) announced today that it has received specifications from General Motors (GM) under its GM Integrated Dealer Management System (IDMS) contract to develop and deploy three additional Business to Business (B2B) integration points for all GM Dealers utilizing Quorum’s dealership management system, XSELLERATOR^TM. Quorum recently completed and deployed the Parts Order integration point to its GM dealership customers. With the opportunity for three added integration points, Quorum is now actively working on a total 10 “next generation” integration points for delivery in 2008 and 2009. Under the GM IDMS agreement, GM and Quorum work together to bring value-added integration between the auto manufacturer and the systems that GM’s dealers use. Each integration point further optimizes the channel by improving efficiency and increasing customer responsiveness at the dealership level. The three added integration points are described as follows:

Sales Workbench

– Vehicle Locate – GM’s Sales Workbench gives the GM dealership user the ability to search for vehicles from a variety of data sources. When a vehicle is found within the dealer’s XSELLERATOR DMS system, the Vehicle Locate Integration Point allows the user to send a request from the Sales Workbench to XSELLERATOR. In real time, XSELLERATOR returns the status of the vehicle informing the user if the vehicle is “Available”, “In Quote”, “Quote Approved”, or “Blocked by Sales”.

– Send Deal – A Vehicle Purchase Quote can be initiated by a dealership user on the Sales Workbench. The Send Deal Integration Point allows the Sales Workbench user to move the quote data from the workbench to the XSELLERATOR DMS creating a vehicle sale record for final processing and contracting.

Service Workbench

– Global Warranty Management (GWM) – This integration point will replace the current WINS warranty claim integration point. GWM is a group of service related transactions that provide the ability to:

– Submit and reconcile warranty claims.

– Access vehicle history details, including applicable warranties and potential repeat repair situations.

– Access open recall campaigns.
