RCG IT to Speak at the Information & Data Quality Conference

Conference in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Robert

Delivery- SouthEast Region will be giving their tutorial on the topic of

"Implementing and Sustaining a Data Governance Program."



    Robert Abate, RCG IT's Global Managing Principal, Development &

Integration Practice states, "Attendees will review the process of what it

takes to actually implement a data governance program and how to sustain it

over time." Also reviewed will be the organizational requirements: the

makeup of required organizations, roles and responsibilities, and data

stewardship.



    "The attendees will also learn what data governance actually is and the

best practices included in data governance programs which lead to trends

emerged over the past two years," added Martha Dember, RCG IT's Director,

Business Intelligence & Data Delivery- SouthEast Region.



    The attendees will not only learn the definition and components of data

governance best practices, they will also learn about the relationship of

data governance with other components of data management, components and

attributes of data governance, high level implementation roadmap, and

lessons learned with success stories and not so successful stories.
