Please donate to help build a well and provide access to clean water for St. Patrick’s School and Orphanage in central Uganda.

We need your help to change this.  Your donation will improve the health and sanitary conditions for years to come. You can make a difference.   (For all of you water angels who donated last year, this is a new project at a new school.  See updates on the positive impact of last year’s donations below).

This is a critical need and time sensitive to the children impacted.  Our goal is to begin construction in January 2019.   This will allow the well to be operating when the children return for the new school year in February 2019.   They need $25,000 to build the well and have already raised $15,000 through many generous donors.  Our family is helping to raise the balance of funds needed to make well a reality for these children.

Brothers of St. Charles Lwanga is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.  St. Patrick’s School and Orphanage is one of the schools they operate.  Founded in 1927, Brothers of St. Charles Lwanga was the first indigenous Catholic religious order in Africa south of the Sahara. They serve Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania through their education initiatives as well as by providing healthcare, agricultural services, and economic development to the children and marginalized communities they serve.

FYI…and Update: We are keeping the water flowing!  Many people (aka water angels) donated last year to build a well for St. Joseph, another school and orphanage in western Uganda run by the  Brothers of St. Charles Lwanga.  Access to clean, running water has made a significant and positive impact on more than 5,000 people.  We want to continue that positive energy and help another school run by the Brothers of St. Charles Lwanga.  Please donate to help St. Patrick School and Orphanage.  Become a water angel!
