Stella-Jones Increases Semi-Annual Dividend by 12,5%

MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(EMWNews – Aug. 14, 2008) – The Board of Directors of Stella-Jones Inc. (TSX:SJ) is pleased to announce that a semi-annual dividend of $0.18 per share has been declared on the outstanding Common Shares of the Corporation, payable on October 10, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 5, 2008. This represents a 12.5 % increase over its previous semi-annual dividend. This dividend is designated to be an eligible dividend.
