TransAKT Ltd. Announces Agreement With CeraMicro Inc.

CALGARY, AB–(EMWNews – August 7, 2008) – TransAKT Ltd. (OTCBB: TAKDF) (the “Company” or

“TransAKT”), a global manufacturer and distributor of telecommunications

hardware for commercial and residential users, is pleased to announce that

it has reached an agreement with CeraMicro Inc., a Taiwanese company, for

the development of its “ZigBee” module. CeraMicro will exclusively provide

a ZigBee module for the home automation industry to TransAKT to be marketed

under TransAKT’s own brand name.

This ZigBee module is scheduled to launch in September 2008 and will be

ready for mass production the 2nd quarter of 2009.

ZigBee is the IEEE wireless standard 802.15.04. This wireless standard can

be used in many different applications like AMR (automatic meter reader)

for electricity and water, security, lighting control, access control,

agriculture control, etc. Many companies like Honeywell, Texas Instruments,

and Atmel are interested in this new standard and have already introduced

products into the market.
