CALGARY, ALBERTA–(EMWNews – Aug. 15, 2008) – Traxion Energy Inc.(TSX VENTURE:TXE) (‘Traxion’ or the ‘Corporation’) is pleased to provide the following operations update.
Traxion has acquired an additional 2,236 acres within its SW Saskatchewan area. With the additional lands Traxion’s potential Bakken oil bearing acreage in SW Saskatchewan is now 4,476 acres, all of which are owned 100% by Traxion. Traxion expects to commence drilling its first well in the area with Bakken and Viking oil potential within four weeks, pending all governmental approvals.
Traxion is a Calgary, Alberta based Corporation engaged in the exploration, development and production of petroleum and natural gas. The Corporation’s common shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol ‘TXE’.
