The Avaana-Startup India-NITI Aayog AIM Grand Challenge, hosted at Startup Mahakumbh (April 3rd-5th), is the world’s largest startup gathering dedicated to fostering transformative climate tech solutions. This year’s competition focused on six critical streams, showcasing how mission-driven entrepreneurship and frontier technologies can contribute to a sustainable future.

From an impressive pool of 557 applications across 22 Indian states, the top three most promising startups were carefully chosen by an esteemed jury of industry leaders, policy experts, and sustainability pioneers. UrjanovaC’s scalable water-based carbon capture and conversion technology was recognized for its potential to transform industrial and ambient CO removal, reinforcing its role in shaping the future of sustainable innovation.
