When I was 10 years old, my aunt returned from a trip to Turkey. She was describing life in the villages there, and suddenly I felt a huge welling up of feeling through my core, and I exclaimed, “I want to visit every village on earth!”

Since that time, I have found myself living in and visiting villages without really thinking about it. But that was the start of the journey. Now I am really doing it!

I have a Jeep and a cat. Both are good travelers. I love learning new languages, meeting new people, getting to know new cultures.

Coincidentally, my teacher Lorenzo Caravella once told me, “Allison, you can live for 10,000 years.” So I really think I can make it to all the villages. Please help me get there!
