Level 3 Delivers Extended Geographic Coverage of Emergency Enhanced 911

                               Infrastructure



    BROOMFIELD, Colo., Aug. 6 /EMWNews/ -- Level 3

Communications' Wholesale Markets group today announced that it has

extended its relationship with Vixxi Solutions, Inc., a nationwide,

Internet-enabled Enhanced 911 (E-911) solutions provider, to support that

company's network connectivity to E-911 private and dedicated

infrastructures. Supporting Vixxi's deployment of FCC-compliant nomadic 911

services to Voice over IP (VoIP) service providers, Level 3 now serves as a

primary provider of E-911 network connectivity for Vixxi.



    Under the terms of this agreement, Vixxi will leverage Level 3's

extensive geographic presence to route 911 calls to the Public Safety

Answering Point (PSAP) over the nationwide 911 infrastructure, thereby

expanding Vixxi's coverage to provide FCC compliant nomadic E-911

capabilities to service providers. Vixxi's database capability will

identify the customer's location and then send the call to Level 3 with

routing instructions to terminate the call to the geographically relevant

PSAP.

    Vixxi is a partner of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA)

Next Generation Enhanced 911 (E-911) Program of providers of nationwide,

Internet-enabled E-911 solutions.
