Wisconsin Natural Acres Sweetens Its Midwest Expansion
Premium Chicago Retailer Added to Its Rapidly Growing Distribution Network
CHILTON, WI–(EMWNews – July 17, 2008) – Wisconsin Natural Acres (WNA), producer of
all-natural honey and home to millions of healthy and thriving honeybees,
today announced the continued expansion of its distribution throughout the
Midwest, by adding Fox & Obel, located in Chicago, to its expanding
high-end distribution network.
Opened in 2001, Fox & Obel was created to be Chicago’s first world-class
food market. Packed with locally grown organic produce, prime beef dry-aged
on the premise, freshly baked artisan bread and pastries, seafood flown to
Chicago the day it is caught and a collection of the finest cheeses, Fox &
Obel has won praise from countless fans and media outlets, including the
Chicago Tribune, which lauded the market for having “A feast of options…”
The Chicago Sun Times recently praised Fox & Obel for having a “Large wine
selection, fresher-than-fresh meat and fish, great hunks of cheese, fresh
breads, glass cases full of to-go items and bottles of truffle balsamic
vinegar.”
“Fox & Obel provides their customers with more than just food; they give
them an experience, providing them with access to high-quality, fresh
ingredients at reasonable prices,” said Doug Schulz, proprietor and
co-founder of Wisconsin Natural Acres. “The shopping experience the market
gives their customers mirrors our company’s values of allowing everyone to
enjoy all-natural premium honey.”
To confirm the honey’s pureness, WNA recently commissioned S-F Analytical
Laboratories to test its honey for insecticides, chemicals or other foreign
substances. S-F Laboratories is one of the Midwest’s largest environmental,
industrial and food analysis facilities, serving the testing needs of more
than 4,000 clients throughout the US and Canada. Test results were
overwhelmingly favorable, with no detectable amounts of organo-phosphate,
chlorinated insecticides or antibiotics being found in WNA’s honey.
