My 2 year old son Byron was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) August 29, 2017. He was in the hospital for 1 week when he was first diagnosed. Now our life consist of weekly appointments for blood draws, chemo, and sometime lumbar punctures. We don’t know what may or may not happen in the future on our journey to recovery. During this time I’m unable to work between the much needed attention Byron needs and the unexpected hospital stays, which has also been stressful with medical bills and the cost to travel to and from the hospital.
