CreativeMornings New Orleans Relaunches With Its CreativeSummer Mixer, a Poolside Community Gathering

New Orleans, Louisiana May 23, 2026 (EMWNews.com) – A new chapter is beginning for CreativeMornings New Orleans.

After a period of pause, the globally recognized creative community is officially relaunching in New Orleans under new local leadership with its first event, CreativeSummer Mixer–a poolside gathering designed to bring together founders, artists, marketers, musicians, entrepreneurs, designers, storytellers, and culture-builders from across the city for a morning of inspiration and conversation.

The free event at Sunnie’s will be hosted by New Orleans Pelicans and Saints in-game host Theo Mitchell and feature a live conversation with Reaux Fareal, a poolside DJ set by Tymonie AKA Dufflebag, food and drinks from A-List Catering, pop-up animations by Delvonte Smith, networking opportunities, and curated experiences celebrating the people and ideas shaping New Orleans’ creative culture.

The event marks the return of the New Orleans chapter of CreativeMornings, part of the internationally recognized CreativeMornings network founded in New York City and active in hundreds of cities worldwide. The organization is supported globally by Adobe alongside a growing network of local collaborators and sponsors including Lakeshore Boat Rides, St. Missy, TRKhidd, and Myco Roots.

“New Orleans has no shortage of creativity, talent, or people building meaningful things,” said Maci Johnson, organizer and host of CreativeMornings New Orleans. “We wanted to relaunch this chapter in a way that felt true to the city–welcoming, inspiring, collaborative, and deeply community-centered. Our CreativeSummer Mixer is about creating a space where people can exchange ideas, collaborate, and leave inspired.”

The new leadership team plans to revive CreativeMornings New Orleans as a recurring platform for monthly programming, speaker events, and experiences designed to support and celebrate creatives throughout the city. Events are scheduled to take place on the last Friday of each month.
