    In BMX, Mike Day took silver and Donny Robinson took bronze in the

men's race on August 22. Also on August 22, Jill Kintner won bronze in the

women's final. In road cycling, Armstrong earned a gold medal for her

first-place finish in the women's race on August 13, finishing nearly 30

seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. In the men's individual time

trial, also on August 13, Leipheimer won the bronze medal.
