We need you to Join The Fight!
The Veterans Administration tells us that there are roughly 100,000 homeless veterans in America. They also say that 1.5 million more are on the verge of being homeless as well… this breaks my heart!
Men and women bravely serve our nation in the armed services. They fought for us… without a second thought, laying down their lives for us on the land, in the air and on the oceans of this world, so that we can remain a free nation!
Some of these men and women have struggles from the things that they have seen, experienced and lived through that can’t be explained away. They suffer and still fight battles that we can’t see. This can leave them broken, addicted and homeless.
These men and women fought for us… now it is our turn to fight for them! This June, we opened The Warriors Refuge Veterans Homeless Shelter, Counseling and Resource Center in West Columbia. We are doing all we can but there is so much more to do that we cannot do on our own. With renovations and proper funding, we can house and serve around 120 men and women.
We need you to join the fight… we want to begin by ending Veteran Homelessness in our region. Then, God-Willing, we can end Vet Homelessness throughout the country. It begins with you!
