I write and illustrate stories for children who’s parents are battling cancer or terminal illness. This is a way of preserving memories for a lifetime. Like the idea of a memory box but in the unique form of a literature legacy.
My first book Post Pixie Missing in Action is inspired by a friend with muscular dystrophy and is an enchanting story about friendship, teaching kids about empathy, confidence and perseverence.
Children will adore the lovely woodland characters and the subplots offer elements of humour, suspense, sympathy and hope.
The book could serve an educational tool in schools as it includes topical sub themes of dyslexia, mental health, food intolerances and foster care.
What makes this book so special are the incredible illustrations which you can see if you search for Tailored Yarn on social media.
