New VP to Direct 78 Clinics in 11 States and Puerto Rico

Farmington Hills, Mich. (EMWNews) July 29, 2008 — American Laser Centers the largest provider of laser hair removal and other noninvasive aesthetic services in the U.S., announces the appointment of Leah Oliva to eastern area vice president.

Among her responsibilities in this position, Oliva oversees the sales, marketing, and training for all American Laser Centers clinics located in the eastern region of the United States and Puerto Rico. She works directly with regional managers and clinic mangers in the eastern region to lead company initiatives ranging from new treatment implementation to customer service.

“Leah brings a deep retail experience that will be a tremendous asset as we look to continue to expand our service offerings and number of clinics in the eastern region,” said Gary Graves, American Laser Centers CEO.

Oliva most recently served as the southeastern divisional vice president for Chicago-based La Petite Academy where she directed 173 Academy locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. At La Petite Academy she was responsible for revenue, employee development, customer service, and the implementation of state funded Pre-Kindergarten initiatives. Oliva’s past experience includes positions with internationally recognized retail brands; Build-a-Bear Workshop, Esprit and London Fog.
