Robinson Joins Jones Walker’s Baton Rouge Office

    BATON ROUGE, La., Aug. 4 /EMWNews/ -- The firm is pleased to

announce that Kimberly Lewis Robinson has joined the firm as special

counsel in the Business & Finance and Tax, Trusts & Estates Practice

Groups. She will practice from the firm's Baton Rouge office. Ms. Robinson

had served under contract to the firm since January 2008.



    Ms. Robinson joins the firm after serving as Special Counsel for the

Office of the Governor of the State of Louisiana, where she provided legal

counsel to Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco. She also served as a liaison

to the Department of Revenue and the Department of Economic Development;

and as a senior policy adviser on economic development, insurance, and

revenue policy. Ms. Robinson worked for six years in the Louisiana

Department of Revenue in the litigation and policy divisions. From

1998-2000, she worked as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Justice Bernette

J. Johnson, Louisiana Supreme Court.



    Ms. Robinson received her juris doctor degree from the Paul M. Hebert

Law Center, Louisiana State University, in 1998, and her master of public

administration degree from Louisiana State University in 1995. Ms. Robinson

also completed her bachelor of arts degree in political science at

Louisiana State University in 1993.
