Spot Free Detail Owner Rick Kolb Selected for Prestigious Air Force One Detailing Team for Fourth Consecutive Year

This marks Kolb’s fourth consecutive year participating in the prestigious restoration effort of Air Force One and other historic aircraft at The Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington.

From July 7th through 12th, Kolb will work alongside a hand-selected group of 30 detailers from across the country to preserve and protect priceless pieces of aviation history. The project, founded by detailing icon Renny Doyle, focuses on meticulously cleaning and restoring historic aircraft–including the original Air Force One presidential jet used by Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon.

“This group of people is absolutely amazing… Every year I’m invited, I will go back to Air Force One just to do my part to give back,” said Rick of his time spent with the detailing team for Air Force One. “We take a lot of pride in the training that we have been given to take on these projects.”
