Stone Total Return Unit Trust Declares Distribution

Stone Total Return Unit Trust (“the Trust”) (TSX:SG.UN) is pleased to announce its monthly distribution in the amount of $0.0625 per unit payable on August 15, 2008 to unitholders of record as at July 31, 2008. This equates to an annual distribution rate of 7.50% based upon the original issue price of $10.00 per trust unit.

The Trust is a closed-end investment fund whose investment objectives are: to provide unitholders of the Trust (“Unitholders”) with a stable stream of monthly distributions; to return the original issue price of $10.00 per Unit to the Unitholders upon termination of the Trust; and to provide Unitholders with an opportunity for capital appreciation.
