Black Women For Kamala (BWFK) Endorses – Begins Campaign Support for Vice President Kamala Harris’ Presidential Campaign

African American women across the United States join forces in the historic presidential race

Washington, D.C, District of Columbia Jul 25, 2024 (EMWNews.com) – Black Women For Kamala (BWFK), led by Waikinya Clanton, announced its endorsement of Kamala Harris for President of the United States, following the news that President Joe Biden is no longer pursuing re-election. President Biden shared in a statement earlier this week that he had decided to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling his duties as president for the remainder of his term. Vice President Harris has stated that she is ready to “earn and win” the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. She is best positioned to unite our country, the Democratic Party, and defeat Donald Trump. We thank President Biden for his fierce leadership of our country during one of the most tumultuous times in modern history, having successfully led us through a financial downturn and a global pandemic.

BWFK is a global network of Black women who have gathered with one sole mission: to unify voters in successfully electing Vice President Harris as the 47th President of the United States of America.

“Vice President Harris has shown herself to be an exemplary and capable leader. Her qualifications for serving as President were met the day she was sworn into office as President Biden’s number two. No one is more fit, capable, qualified, and electable than Vice President Harris. She has exemplified that she has exactly what it takes to unify not only the Democratic party but the Nation. We support Vice President Harris not because she will have to earn our vote, but because she already has. ” – Waikinya Clanton, Founder.

Since Sunday’s announcement, a little over 48 hours ago, over 250,000 Black and Brown women from across the globe have banded together to join the BWFK Facebook group whose goal is to ensure Vice President Kamala Harris becomes the next President of the United States. Black Women For Kamala is quickly growing and intends to reach voters in every state. The group has developed a 100 Day of Action mobilization strategy that showcases Vice President Harris’ record and is certain to help turn out the vote for the Vice President.

Vice President Harris:

Has successfully spent the past four years as a governing partner to the most experienced president in American history.
Helped pass and implement historic legislation and strengthen America’s national security through her travels to more than 20 countries and meetings with over 150 world leaders.
Serves as a leading messenger of reproductive freedom.
Worked as a prosecutor which makes her the ultimate contrast to Trump, the convicted felon.
Represents the next generation of the Democratic Party and addresses the issue of age and fitness, a liability for Trump.
Actively generating strong support from advocates for reproductive rights, democracy, young voters, LGBTQ+ rights, and unions.

As our great nation prepares for its first African American female president, we must use our dollars and voices to keep the White House fair and led with integrity. Every vote counts. To join BWFK and volunteer, please visit or contact linktr.ee/blackwomenforkamala.
