Having begun her career in Miami, Florida, Clari embarked on an independent journey in 2017 to explore a broader canvas of creative opportunities. Her independent venture quickly bore fruit with the production and direction of “La Perla After Maria,” a poignant short documentary that captures the resilient spirit of La Perla Puerto Rico, in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The film not only toured global film festivals, including the prestigious HBO – New York Latino Film Festival and the Annual Copenhagen Film Festival, but also garnered critical acclaim, winning top honors in Seattle, being a finalist in Austin, and earning a cinematography prize at the European awards.

Born in Venezuela and having lived in the United States for 27 years, Clari now divides her time between Puerto Rico and Germany, bringing a unique global sensitivity to her work.
