Elon Musk Decides to Move Space X Out of California

New York City, New York Jul 17, 2024 (EMWNews.com) – The Chief Technology Officer of X, Elon Musk said that he is about to move his companies out of California and this sudden decision is raising many questions. The Billionaire posted on X and the two consecutive posts on X have made it clear that SpaceX will be migrating. Its headquarters is currently based in Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas. A company town is also being built in the Southern part of the state. The post also revealed that not only SpaceX but HQ of social media platform X will also move from San Francisco to Austin Texas.

As a reason behind this movement, Musk said that the California Government Gavin Newsom has signed a law that is going to prevent school districts from gender identification. It prohibits the teachers from informing parents in case a student wants to be identified with a different gender than the assigned one at birth. Musk shared on X, “Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas.” Previously, Elon Musk was heavily criticized when one of his children filed a petition at the California court in 2022 that she no longer wanted to be related to her father “in any way, shape, or form” for not identifying her and her new gender.

Later on, Elon Musk said he was tired of the incidents taking place around X office in San Francisco which were violent perhaps. But this is not the first time Musk wants to move his office as he has been inclined towards becoming a lone star for a long time now. Previously, SpaceX filed a report where the company wanted to move its corporation from Delaware to Texas as the State Judge of Delaware turned down the Tesla pay package in 2018. In 2021, Telsa wanted to move its HQ to Austin Texas from the Bay Area as Musk himself moved to Texas in December 2020.
