Former President Donald Trump Said, ‘I hate Taylor Swift’ after her Endorsement for Harris

The presidential election is taking more enjoyable turns with Donald Trump sharing ‘I hate Taylor Swift’ on the internet after the pop star endorsed Kamala Harris.

Washington, D.C, District of Columbia Sep 16, 2024 (EMWNews.com) – Former President Donald Trump has made sure that he is not a Swiftie. A few days after Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris as the President for the Republican presidential nominee, Trump showed disgust about the pop star. Trump shared a post on Truth Social saying, ‘I hate Taylor Swift’ which was shared on Sunday. The debate between Trump and Kamala Harris was quite heated which wrapped up on Tuesday night and after that, Swift showed her support for the Democratic vice president.

Swift shared on Instagram that “She fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” and 280 million followers also read, “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”It made Trump quite angry it seems and he shared “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”, hatred in all caps. Taylor Swift was perhaps quite driven to offer her political opinion and share the “actual plans for this election as a voter” since Donald Trump shared misinformation about getting her vote. Last month, an AI-generated political campaign was found where they showed Swift in an Uncle Sam outfit offering a fake endorsement.

Swift’s endorsement campaigns are considered to be effective as her political statements have boosted more awareness among the fans and created more civic engagement among the young Swifties. Her recent post on Instagram or the endorsement has allowed more than 300,000 visitors to visit registration offsite for Vote.gov. It is still not sure how the Instagram post on Sunday can help Harris gain more advantage in the presidential election however; it may have had an impact on the number of voters. One of the greatest drawbacks of celebrity endorsement is that it can steal all the attention from the candidate and drive fans to make a decision even if they do not share the same opinion.
