There was no support or proper guidance into the future he was reaching out for. The only thing he felt, as a College dropout and a minimum wage worker in the harsh city of Columbus, Ohio; was frustration!

Understandably so; as most of us know what it’s like going through our days with no plans and seeing our colleagues apparently living better lives than us. Frustration is amplified even more because we are active on Social Media, where our peers love show-boating. But undeterred, Ibrahim Jawara had a strong belief that he would eventually create something of value.

That belief, was the reason all of his videos were imprinted with a simple promise “Jmusic Singer and Songwriter”! Original songs written from the heart, that would serve as a form of therapy for the young professional seeking a path to something more.

Transformation was taking place. Ibrahim Jawara, reflected and wrote words of honesty about topics that most young professionals face. He spoke about his love of music, and it’s ability to bring a broken-soul from the depths of despair to the height of jubilation. He found the bits and pieces of his soul that were broken and starving for transformation; which he at the time, did not know what it was.

Slowly but surely, he found peace and happiness. A strange thing, especially since his whole YouTube career for the past 7 years had not yielded significant success. He did not have a huge following, a mass subscriber base or even hundreds of Likes. Yet; He was Proud, happy, excited and most important of all; HE HAD A VISION!

See; as a Youtube musician, the popular strategy for musicians was cover songs. Since no one is familiar with a new artists like, Ibrahim Jawara; the most sensible thing to do, would have been posing cover songs of trendy artists in order to potentially gain mass exposure and a supportive fanbase. However, for those Seven to Eight years Ibrahim Jawara found love and purpose.

Love for the written songs he had created. Love for how beautifully he sang those words. The few compliments he did receive supported his suspicion that he was a lyrical and musical genius. In fact, some of the words used by the few strangers that saw and listened to his work were: Beautiful; Soulful; Inspiring; Talented and much more motivating.
