GSA and GSA Advantage Open the Door to Contracts in Excess of 15,000 Cyber Tracker Units
ARDEN, NC–(EMWNews – August 21, 2008) – Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.
(
negotiating contracts for over 15,000 Cyber Tracker units in numerous
counties throughout Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, including
the South Carolina Departments of Education and Transportation as stated
during a nationwide teleconference on August 20th. The Nationwide
Teleconference featured Fred Wicks, Chief Executive Officer and President
of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc., Brian Riley, Chief
Operations Officer and Chairman of the Board, and Ian Riley, Chief
Technical Officer. As a result of being GSA listed, the Company can sell to
federal, state and county governmental entities directly without going
through the bidding process.
During the teleconference, Brian Riley discussed promoting the green
benefits of the Cyber Tracker product line and how they can help to reduce
fuel consumption, idle times and vehicle speeds as well as the efficient
routing of vehicles. He also described a green project which the Company is
negotiating. This would involve a 10 to 15 year contract supplying
telecommunications, inventory control and remote location based services
utilizing the Cyber Tracker technology.
Fred Wicks added that in addition to offering its products on the GSA
Schedule and GSA Advantage, the Company is also seeking out more sales
through MANAonline, the nation’s largest online network of sales
representatives. MANAonline has a searchable database of more than 22,000
members and offers a network of resources to help manufacturers find highly
qualified representatives and vice-versa. The Company will also be
advertising in MANA’s monthly magazine and its online advertisement
directory in the very near future.
He also mentioned that the Company has reduced their expenses by
approximately 80% from $680,000 for the three months ending June 30, 2006
to $134,000 for the three months ending June 30, 2008. The majority of its
revenues went into the development of new products such as the CT-150,
CT-410, CT-100 and mapping software as well as the Company’s partnership
with Koretelematics, which allows it to sell wireless data services and
receive monthly residuals.
Ian Riley described the details of the Newell Coach pilot program which
will begin in October. During this program, a Newell Coach recreational
vehicle will be fitted with a CT-410. Newell Coach will evaluate all of the
unit’s abilities, including the automatic collision detection system,
emergency transmission system, monitoring and diagnosing engine performance
and GPS tracking.
“We are very excited about all the projects and programs that we are
pursuing. We intend to grow our revenue significantly as we increase our
marketing and sales efforts. We also plan on aggressively seeking
additional sales reps in the transportation, logistic and government
sectors to help capture a larger portion of the market,” stated Fred Wicks,
CEO and President of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.
