manufacturing enterprises, today announced that John Irwin, formerly Senior

Regional Sales Manager for Rockwell Automation for the southwestern U.S.,

has joined the company as Regional Sales Director for the western United

States.

In his new post, Irwin is responsible for managing the company’s

value-added reseller channel, supporting vertical market programs and

directing strategic key account sales. He reports directly to Gary Wilson,

Incuity Vice President of Sales.

“John brings us outstanding capabilities in the manufacturing industries,

combining great depth of experience both in manufacturing management and in

software sales,” Wilson said. “In his more than 20 years in industry, he

has worked on both sides of the fence, as a software and services sales

manager and as a knowledgeable manager of engineering and information

technology teams in end user and system integrator companies. We know he’s

a great addition to our team who will help us increase our market

penetration in the western region.”

For the past four years Irwin was responsible for the successful sales

growth of Rockwell Automation’s products and services in the southwestern

U.S. Before that he was Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and IT for

five years at Callaway Golf, in Carlsbad, Calif., developing manufacturing

control and automation systems for this leading sports equipment maker.

He earlier was a Regional Account and Product Manager for Henberger

Automation, in San Diego, and was a Product Marketing Manager for

Wonderware Corporation, now a unit of Invensys Systems, for four years.

Irwin is a business administration graduate of Golden West College and the

University of Phoenix.
