Northern Virginia Technology Council Announces New Officers and Appointments to the Board of Directors

    HERNDON, Va., July 15 /EMWNews/ -- The Northern Virginia

Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation,

today announced the election of eight Officers to the Board of Directors as

well as the appointment of six new Board members by the incoming Chair.

Today's group joins 15 members newly elected on June 20, 2008.



    



    The new officers will serve their terms, which take effect immediately,

for the fiscal year 2009 - 2010. Officers of the Board of Directors

include:



    -- Chair: Donna Morea, President, U.S. and India, CGI



    -- Vice Chairman: Jim Duffey



    -- Vice Chairman: Jim O'Neill, CEO, CompuDyne



    -- President & CEO: Bobbie Kilberg, NVTC



    -- Treasurer: Chris Simmons, Managing Partner, Pricewaterhouse Coopers



    -- Secretary: John Love, Principal, AH&T Insurance



    -- General Counsel: Scott Hommer, Partner, Venable



    -- Public Relations Advisor: Evan Weisel, Principal, Welz & Weisel

Communications



    In addition, Donna Morea, new Chair of the NVTC Board, presented her

six appointments to the Board as follows:



    -- John Allen, Co-President, B&T/Windsor



    -- Doug Boggs, Managing Partner, Patton Boggs



    -- Brooke Coburn, Managing Director, Head of Carlyle Growth Partners



    -- Stan Gutkowski, Managing Director (Ret.), Accenture



    -- Kevin McNerney, Managing Director and Regional Market Leader, North

    -- Stacy Mendler, EVP and COO, Alion Science and Technology



    New Board members, elected to three-year terms at NVTC's Annual Meeting

on June 20, include:
