Practising Law Institute Celebrates 75th Anniversary at Tavern on the Green
NEW YORK, Aug. 5 /EMWNews/ -- Practising Law Institute, PLI, the largest non-profit CLE provider in the country, will celebrate its 75th Anniversary on Sunday, August 10th at Tavern on the Green in New York. In discussing the upcoming event, PLI Board Chairman Werner Polak stated: "We are pleased that in our 75th year, we have never been stronger in terms of our outreach to lawyers needing continuing education. New York is where PLI began and is one of three cities where we are honoring our more than 3,500 volunteer speakers and authors." He continued, "We note that this year we are offering over 150 CLE programs in New York." PLI presents more than 230 programs live annually in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and other major cities, of which 100 are also simulcast via video streaming on the web. Currently 100 audio webcast briefings are presented and all video and audio webcasts are archived for at least one year. More than 100,000 attorneys nationwide annually participate in these live and archived programs.
