Security Experts From Around the World to Convene in New York in December

NEW YORK, NY–(EMWNews – August 20, 2008) – SC Magazine, the longest running information
security magazine in the world, has announced the leading speakers for its
inaugural SC World Congress, which will convene IT security professionals
from around the world. Ever wonder how Congress is getting involved in
computer security? Want to see how eBay protects your information?
Curious to hear how the FBI works with Interpol and the United Nations on
global attacks? SC World Congress will feature speakers from the United
States Congress, eBay, AIG, GoDaddy.com and the FBI Office of International
Affairs to Interpol — United Nations. This inaugural event will take
place December 9 and 10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New
York City — an area that has the largest concentration of corporate
headquarters and government offices in the US, creating the highest need
for the latest technologies and solutions to protect valuable data.
As Internet warfare and computer viruses crash airport terminals, question
public transit systems and infiltrate public records, the need to
strengthen cyber borders and learn the latest in security training is
paramount. SC World Congress is the only event designed to give companies
actionable, inside information to help protect data — their own and their

and solutions. It will feature six plenary sessions, four tracks of panels
