Mail Attender for Notes Provides Automated Checks and Balances to Ensure the Proper Execution and Adherence to Corporate Compliance Policies

the release of version 8.0 of Mail Attender for Notes that among

other enhancements, provides internal mechanisms that certify that the

proper steps have been taken prior to executing corporate compliance

actions.

Mail Attender is a Domino-centric solution that assists companies in

addressing email management, archiving, discovery, and compliance requirements as they may relate to

regulations such as SOX, the new amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil

Mail Attender version 8.0 takes specific aim at compliance policies by

taking the guesswork out of the equation and providing automated checks and

balances, ensuring that the proper chronology of events has occurred and

that each step required to execute the policy correctly has been completed.

Using a task-oriented style menu, administrators can see the configuration

requirements that must be defined for the policies to properly carry out

their function.

In addition, administrators can define specific requirements within the

policy that will prevent the policy from executing if users did not receive

notifications of the documents and attachments within their mailboxes that

will be archived or deleted. This ensures that the standards in place

regarding corporate communications have been followed. As a final

safeguard, prior to the policies execution, reports can be run to test and

verify that the policies comply with the corporate requirements.
