Onstream Media Announces New Microsoft(R) Silverlight Webcasting Service

    POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 22 /EMWNews/ -- Onstream Media

that its Visual Webcaster platform will support Microsoft(R)

Silverlight(TM) effective with the next version of Visual Webcaster

scheduled for release in October, 2008. Silverlight is a cross-browser,

cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering the next generation

of media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.

Silverlight is the technology currently supporting NBC's online video

coverage of the Olympic games in Beijing, China.

Media, QuickTime and Flash. Silverlight adds the functionality and
