The release of T Ray Deal’s new book is timed to coincide with a predictable event which is that Beijing would have great difficulty in clearing pollution in time for the Olympic games. The book written about post ‘Peak Oil’ questions methods of alternative energy production and offers answers.

London, UK (EMWNews) July 30, 2008 — In the past, author T Ray Deal observes, man has built power hungry, non-sustainable structures that deplete natural resources and put nothing back into the community. ‘Virgintell‘ is a timely look at how we will be living…Post Peak Oil…and how we will benefit from many inventions and structures that have a positive carbon footprint.

After writing extensively about Peak Oil previously (in press releases titled “Peak Oil, and a Challenge to Sir Richard Branson of Virgin” and “Combating Peak Oil With Sunshine and Aluminium”), T Ray Deal decided to release ‘Virgintell’ in time for the Olympics and to highlight what we must do to sustain the human race in the fashion to which it has become accustomed. Peak Food is only a brief time away, and moving closer every day that we burn food and non-renewable fossil fuels in our cars.

“The way forward is to look positively at the future and to get away from doomsday scenarios that only deplete the human will to endure,” says Deal. “For example, one scenario would be running out of oil and the world going into financial free fall. Or, the world becomes so short of oil, that the only way for the majority to survive is for oil producing countries and China to pull the plug and bankrupt the biggest oil consumer.”

The main structure in the book is a computer designed city that is modified to both clear pollution and produce power and water. The design is based on current flow technology and is not to be mistaken with older technology being built today that does not take air flow and speed into consideration.

Other designs in the book are based around extensive practical, and thought experimentation to produce a form of constantly renewable energy. The author has done much of the initial work and calculating the pitfalls and providing solutions. Written as a near future thriller, this work embraces practical science to make it interesting for many people concerned about the energy crisis.

Much of the computing in the book is done by a beautiful ‘Animate’ designed by ‘Abyss Creations’. ‘Virgintell’ is not connected with the Branson Empire, although the writer, again, sincerely, wishes that Richard would provide the World with some much needed non-political leadership in the areas of energy conservation and sustainability.
