AirTran Airways Scores Partnership with Donald Driver

         - Packers Star to Help Airline Touch Down With Low Fares -



    ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 6 /EMWNews/ -- AirTran Airways, a

for its sports advertising campaign in Milwaukee with the announcement that

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver has joined AirTran Airways'

roster of promotional endorsers. Driver will be featured in radio spots and

state-of-the art high-impact billboards across the Milwaukee area.

    Driver is the newest addition to an all-star roster of sports figures

partnering with AirTran Airways. Originally from Houston, Texas, Driver was

a seventh-round selection out of Alcorn State University in the 1999 draft.

In his NFL career, all spent with the Packers, he has racked up impressive

stats with 503 receptions for 6,977 yards and 38 touchdowns, plus 31 rushes

for 200 yards and one touchdown.



    Driver has made more than 430 community-related appearances during his

NFL career and he received a JB Award, named for CBS' NFL host James Brown,

for community service in 2007. In addition, he was named the Packers' "2002

Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year" in recognition of his extensive work in

the community.



    Driver joins other athletes on AirTran Airways' roster of endorsers,

which includes Baltimore Ravens tight end Todd Heap and Indianapolis Colts

quarterback Peyton Manning, among others.
