I guess the sealed Certificate from the State Board of Elections makes it official, I am a duly elected Delegate to the National Convention. I still need a little bit of help in order to pay these delegate expenses. Just a little bit from a few of you would go a long way. I sincerely thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

My name is James Devors. I have been elected as a delegate from the 2nd congressional district of Illinois to go the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July. I volunteered to be a delegate because I want to get involved and because I love my country, I was deeply honored to be elected. I am a novice in politics, only watching on TV, but I know I have a lot to offer, and a lot to learn. For instance, I am finding out that the Convention can be an expensive proposition for the delegate. A delegate can expect to spend about $3000 factoring in convention fees, hotel cost, transportation, etc., and the delegate is responsible for 100% of that expense.

Well that leaves me with two choices, back out of my commitment and not go, or borrow money and max out my credit cards to pay for the trip. This convention is very important not only to me but to the country, it has the potential to be historical, and I have the opportunity to be in the middle of it. So I do not want to back out. I am just looking for some help in paying these expenses. All money will be used towards my delegate expenses, and I would be so grateful to anyone who was willing to help me get to Cleveland. Thank you.
