Canadian electors in Guelph (Ontario), Saint-Lambert (Quebec) and Westmount-Ville-Marie (Quebec) reminded of voter information cards and new identification rules

OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(EMWNews – Aug. 20, 2008) –

– Reminder cards alert electors in Guelph (Ontario), Saint-Lambert (Quebec) and Westmount-Ville-Marie (Quebec) to contact their local Elections Canada office if they have not received their voter information card, or if the card contains errors.

– Canadian electors in Guelph, Saint-Lambert and Westmount-Ville-Marie will also receive information on the new voter identification rules, including the Chief Electoral Officer’s list of acceptable pieces of identification for electors to prove their identity and address when they vote.
