announced today the release of MagniFIX Version 3.6, the latest update to

its industry-leading order, trade, and market data message tracking and

monitoring suite.



    In addition to the numerous usability and performance enhancements, the

new MagniFIX Advanced Network Agent maximizes the suite's functionality

while minimizing hardware demand. Version 3.6 also extends MagniFIX's core

functionality by providing direct integration with third-party commercial

FIX engines, giving users control and a consolidated view of their entire

FIX infrastructure.

    Key release highlights:



    -- The Advanced Network Agent passively filters and records message

traffic as it traverses through the network without impact on production

systems performance. The agent also allows users to disable message logging

at the FIX server level, thereby reducing CPU utilization and increasing

overall performance and the number of FIX sessions. Providing users a

robust and efficient view into their FIX message traffic, the Advanced

Network Agent can work with any commercial or proprietary FIX engine.



    -- Issues identified via MagniFIX's extensive monitoring functionality

may now be resolved through direct administration of third-party FIX

engines. In addition, the interface now provides MagniFIX monitoring

capabilities into the FIX engine itself. Users can view sessions at the FIX

engine level, perform actions on those sessions and monitor their entire

FIX environment from a single console.



    -- MagniFIX now supports event alert notification through Simple

Network Management Protocol (SNMP), allowing MagniFIX to communicate

directly to Network Management Systems. In addition to supporting multiple

versions of SNMP, MagniFIX has a new alert response engine that allows it

to react to alert notifications by running command-line scripts to

automatically address them.

implementation from firms, ATSs and ECNs as a highly customizable FIX

traffic monitoring, troubleshooting and alerting tool. MagniFIX enables FIX
