Raising money to help raise PTSD awareness for our veterans, first responders and their families.

Hello! My name is Angie Nault and I have started this fundraiser to help support, not only my father, but the brave men and woman who serve and have served this country.

In the beginning of this year, my father started his own non-profit organization, Share in Love, in which he funds through a thrift store. His mission is to help raise PTSD awareness and help our veterans, first responders and their families cope through a self-development seminar called Landmark Forum.

To offer a little background:

My father is both a veteran and retired first responder. He was in the Navy C.B. between 70-74. He then went to law enforcement before retiring after 21 years of service. My older brother is also a veteran of the Marine Corps. He was medically discharged in his 3rd year after breaking his back during his tour in Bosnia. In recent years, my older brother has lost 2 of his friends that he served with to suicided linked to PTSD. This and the Landmark Forum is what triggered my fathers decision to start this non-profit.

The money I hope to raise will be used to send our veterans, first responders and their families to the Landmark Forum first and foremost. Because Landmark Forum is a world wide organization we will not be limited to helping only those people in our community. I also wish to raise enough to help open a second store which is one of my fathers goals for the near future.

The store opened on June 1st 2018, and although we’ve only been in business for a short time we are doing much better than expected. We are in a prime location and get plenty of traffic daily being situated between a grocery store and the post office. Our donations have also increased with the recent publicity and word of mouth of the people who frequent our store. Also, being that we are relatively close to Fort Gordon we have a good number of people who share our desire to support this cause.

At present we are a three-man operation (myself and my father) and just recently have hired a part time helper who had originally volunteered her time. With her generosity and help we were able to get the store up and running much sooner than originally planned.  All though it is a lot of work for 3 people we manage to keep things going and gradually grow each day.

I also firmly believe in my fathers vision, and for once, we actually see eye to eye. I think it’s fair to say that our armed forces and first responders have the toughest jobs to boot and they do not receive a fraction of the support they so richly deserve. That is why I am here starting this campaign. My father is not tech savvy and will not bother with things he doesn’t understand, so I took the initiative. However with that being said, I have no love for social media and my presence on such platforms is sorely lacking. I would deeply appreciate anyone willing to share this with their friends and families and if possible contribute. I simply wish to reach out to as many people as possible, to let our hero’s know that there are great number of people who greatly appreciate their service and their sacrifices.

I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
My personal email is linked to this fundraiser so please feel free to contact me.
please use “Share In Love” in the subject line so I know not to delete an email from an unknown sender.
