LPK Appoints John Recker as President of Expanding LPK International Operations

LPK Adds To International Client Roster With Assignments From Nestle And

                  General Mills Cereal Partners Worldwide

CINCINNATI, Aug. 4 /EMWNews/ -- LPK, the international design

agency, announces the expansion of its international efforts to underscore

and build its concentration of growing global offices in Europe, Asia and

beyond. John Recker, previously Executive Vice President and Director of

Brand Strategy has been named President of the expansion efforts, charged

with overseeing the firm's growth and operations in Europe and Asia. Having

established LPK's current offices in London, Geneva, Frankfurt and

Guangzhou, his responsibilities will include leading global new business

efforts and identifying additional worldwide expansion opportunities.

"While we have a long history of building leadership brands for

multinational corporations such as P&G, IBM, Hershey's, Samsung, Chiquita

and others, our expanding international influence necessitates a permanent

on-the-ground presence in Europe and Asia. Our international offices

provide an intimate understanding of cultural, consumer and market insights

which are critical to brand success," noted John Recker, President, LPK's

international operations. "Because we are independently owned, we've

strategically created a business model that allows for seamless integration

throughout our global operations, relying on our Cincinnati-based resources

for umbrella support," Recker continued. LPK has already added to its

growing international client list, winning assignments from Nestle's world

headquarters located in Vevey, Switzerland, the world's number one

nutrition, health and wellness consumer goods company and from General

Mills Cereal Partners Worldwide, the world's number two largest cereal

company outside of North America, marketing cereal brands like Cheerios(R)

in more than 130 countries.

In late 2007, LPK established a London office. LPK now employs more

than fifty employees in three offices in Europe (London, England, Geneva,

Switzerland, and Frankfurt, Germany) and in the company's office in

Ghangzhou, China. "John has been the architect of our international

expansion, leading our efforts in Europe and Asia," said Jerry Kathman,

President & CEO of LPK.
