epost and WWF-Canada invite Canadians to Yonge-Dundas Square
OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(EMWNews – Aug. 18, 2008) – Attention Assignment and Photo Editors
What:
epost representatives will be at Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square spreading the word about the online bill delivery service and their support for WWF-Canada’s conservation work.
– epost will contribute $1 to WWF-Canada’s The Good Life program for each of the first 150,000 registrants to the service at simplerissmarter.ca. The Good Life is an online community for Canadians who want to make simple but significant changes to help fight climate change and reduce their impact on the planet.
– The fundraising campaign runs until October 7.
Canadians will be invited to:
– Meet the Panda, WWF-Canada’s mascot
– Find out how much time and how many trees they could save by signing up for epost.
– Check out the three smart fortwo cars, valued at $19,659, that are available to be won.
– Receive a Spruce seedling to plant in their backyard.
– Learn more about actions they can take to reduce their footprint and The Good Life
epost has polled Canadians to find out about their bill-paying habits. The survey found that Canadians want reminders to pay their bills, a handy option that epost offers. Highlights of poll results will be released in conjunction with the August 21 event.
