TORONTO, ONTARIO–( EMWNews – April 7, 2008) – The National Job Fair & Training Expo President and Founder Daniel Levesque, Toronto SUN and 24 Hours Publisher and CEO Kin-Man Lee, and BizLaunch.ca Co-Founder and Entrepreneurship Experts Roger Pierce are pleased to invite the media to the opening ceremony of the 12th edition of The National Job Fair & Training Expo on TUESDAY, April 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North building (Exhibition Hall C).

Governments actively support employment and fight labour shortage across Canada at The National Job fair & Training Expo: Organizations from the Government of Ontario (major sponsor), the Government of New Brunswick, the Government of Nunavut, the Government of Alberta, the Government of Canada and the Government of Australia will exhibit at the event.

The National Job Fair & Training Expo, the Ontario’s most established, comprehensive and largest recruitment event, is presented in collaboration with major sponsors the Toronto SUN, 24 Hours and the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The largest spring fair ever will be presented this Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This 12th edition brings together 154 multi-sector exhibitors from over 60 industry sectors. More than 700 recruiters, HR professionals and career specialists/counsellors will meet face to face with the 8,000 to 10,000 experienced and motivated candidates expected. Attendees will access more than 7,000 job and career offers onsite.

SPECIAL FEATURES: The Employment Pavilion, including the Ontario Recruitment Zone, the Alberta Recruitment Zone, the New Brunswick Recruitment Zone (new), the Retail Recruitment Zone, the Relocation Recruitment Zone, and the Canadian Government Zone, the Training & Education Pavilion, the Career Services Pavilion, the Entrepreneurship Pavilion, the Career Posting Zone, the Documentation Centre, free resume critique and career development assessment sessions, free presentations and free entrepreneurship seminars.
