VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(EMWNews – Aug. 15, 2008) – Plutonic Power Corporation (TSX:PCC), a leading developer of clean, run-of-river energy projects in British Columbia, has rescheduled its investor/analyst conference call to Monday, August 18 to provide a corporate update and discuss the recently signed memorandum of understanding between the Company and GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE (NYSE:GE), to partner on a bid to develop approximately 1,000 megawatts (MW) of run-of-river hydroelectric capacity in the Toba and Bute Inlets along the southwest coast of British Columbia. The conference call was rescheduled to Monday due to an unexpected last-minute travel conflict.
