Bloomingdale’s and Space NK Announce Partnership
Specialty Beauty Apothecary to Open in Select Bloomingdale's
NEW YORK, July 25 /EMWNews/ -- Bloomingdale's and Space NK have
agreed to an exclusive multi-year arrangement to open beauty boutiques in
nine Bloomingdale's locations across the country beginning in November. The
British based retail phenomenon, founded by Belfast-born, Nicky Kinnaird,
is best known for its innovative approach, exceptional service and highly
edited selection of the most coveted and craved beauty items sourced by
Kinnaird herself.

partnership with Bloomingdale's will give us increased accessibility and
allow us to introduce the Space NK concept to a wider audience."
Locations slated for Bloomingdale's include the Flagship 59th Street
store as well as Soho and White Plains, NY; Chestnut Hill, MA; Sherman
Oaks, Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza, Century City, and San Francisco,
CA. The square footage of each shop will range from 750 and 1,000 square
feet.
The boutiques will mirror the design and feel of existing Space NK
locations, offering a hand-selected mix of beauty brands created by
innovators and experts in their fields. Each location will be staffed, in
true Space NK style, with highly knowledgeable, unbiased skincare experts
and make-up artists, who can advise each customer about their specific
beauty needs and prescribe personalized solutions across multiple brands.
Space NK signature elements such as clean modern design, bright lighting
and an open, inviting atmosphere will be replicated inside Bloomingdale's.
Over the past 15 years, word-of-mouth buzz has built awareness of the
Space NK brand within trans-Atlantic circles. A stop at one of the London
shops is a regular event for the most recognized faces in London who rely
on Kinnaird and her staff for their unbiased opinions on some of the best
