My MR2 Dream – Cancer Sucks GoFundME CrowdFundingExposure.com Campaign

Hi, my name is Dave. In December 2016 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and underwent an operation in February 2017 to have the tumour removed. In January 2018 I found out the cancer had returned and spread to my liver and lungs and was given just 12 to 18 months to live. 12 months on and I’m still here, fighting for every month of life I can get with my wife, family and friends.

I’ve never asked for anything before, I was raised to work hard and save for what I wanted but I have finally realised that one dream I have I will never be able to afford. When I was younger I owned a Mk1 MR2 and it was the best car I ever owned. I loved it. I would like to raise approx £9k to buy another one and enjoy it while I still have the time, and being that these cars are now quite rare, it would also serve as an asset my wife can sell to pay for funeral costs etc when I’m gone.

I know this will not seem like a priority for most of you and I will respect your decision if you choose not to donate.
