TNAHSA Recognizes Area Leaders in Long-Term Health Care

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 14 /EMWNews/ -- The Tennessee Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (TNAHSA) recently honored several members for outstanding health care performance and dedication in caring for the aging and disabled. The following awards were presented at TNAHSA's annual convention: -- Innovator of the Year to Suzette Williamson with Hillcrest Communities in Knoxville -- Whatever it Takes Leadership Award to Beverly Harrison, community assistant at Morningside of Gallatin -- Volunteer of the Year to Bill Wilson with Hillcrest Communities in Knoxville -- Business Partner of the Year to Glen Berkel of Sodexo Senior Services Residents from TNAHSA member communities were also recognized as Seniors of Distinction for significant influence through civic and community involvement, personal and professional accomplishments, and inspiration to generations that follow them. Parsons, M.D., of Hillcrest Healthcare North in Knoxville, -- Louise Short of McKendree Village in Hermitage, -- Donald W. Tetrick, Sr. of Asbury Place in Johnson City, -- Hazel Wicker of Asbury Place Baysmont in Kingsport and -- Naomi Addison Woods of Asbury Place Steadman Hill in Kingsport. "I am most impressed by the steadfast dedication of these individuals," said TNAHSA Executive Director Carrie Ermshar.
