Vendormate Announces New Marketing Leader

    ATLANTA, Aug. 14 /EMWNews/ -- Vendormate, Inc. today named John

Harper, former Vice President of Marketing at MCI, as its marketing lead.

Vendormate is a leader in vendor management solutions, providing

cost-effective private-labeled solutions to manage the composition and risk

of enterprises' supplier bases. Mr. Harper brings over 20 years of varied

marketing and branding leadership to Vendormate and has been consulting

with Vendormate for the past several months.

a number of vertical markets," said Mr. Harper.



    Mr. Harper is a seasoned marketing strategy and communications

professional. His diverse career includes Fortune 500 and small business

experience as well as B2B and consumer marketing. Most recently, Mr. Harper

served as a principal at PathCut Partners, a B2B marketing and sales

effectiveness consultancy. His experience includes marketing research,

strategy, and product management roles as well as tenure at JCPenney and

Belden Associates, a media marketing research consultancy.

    While at MCI, Mr. Harper led business-to-business brand management,

advertising, and marketing communications launching products and brands.

Mr. Harper oversaw brand strategy and recovery efforts following the

WorldCom bankruptcy that helped hold major account churn to zero and

eventually resulted in the successful re-launch of the MCI brand in the B2B

space. In addition,



    Mr. Harper earned an MBA from the University of Georgia and a BBA in

Journalism from Baylor University.
