Hispanic Business Alliance Announces Chairs and Presenting Sponsors for 2008 Expo

    DETROIT, Aug. 18 /EMWNews/ -- Leaders of the Hispanic Business

Alliance (HBA) announce today that Dick Wade, president of the Michigan

market for Chase, will serve as Corporate Chair for the 2008 HBA Expo and

Economic Summit, held Oct. 22-23.




Mr. Wade will be joined by the event Corporate Co-Chairs: -- Marc Shulman, vice president for government and regulatory affairs -- Michigan Region, for Comcast -- Benjamin Negron, store director for Meijer "Chase understands how important small and mid-sized businesses are to sustaining vibrant communities," said Wade. "The HBA Expo and Summit foster an entrepreneurial spirit that can energize our region." Chase, Comcast and Meijer are the Presenting Sponsors of the 2008 Hispanic Business Alliance and Economic Summit. "We view our sponsors as investors in our event," said HBA President Frederick Feliciano. "The Presenting Sponsors are taking the lead in connecting their companies with Hispanic entrepreneurs through this Expo and will benefit from their involvement with the largest Hispanic business event in the Midwest." The 2008 Hispanic Business Expo is scheduled for Oct. 22-23 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. More than 3,500 people attended last year's event. Started in 2002, the Hispanic Business Alliance Expo and Economic Summit bring together the 400 members of the HBA with the Michigan business community for a series of dialogues on key issues, business matchmaking and high-level networking.
