2017-2018 Pre-K Classroom Fund GoFundME Booster Promotion CrowdFunding Campaign CrowdFundingExposure.com

Hello all!! My name is Ms. Anderson and I am a pre-k teacher.
I have been teaching pre-k for 12 years now and may have up to 17 three and four year old’s each year.
I have enjoyed every bit of it.
I love working with young children and seeing the impact that is possible to have on a mind that is prime for learning.

It is important for children to get the basics of the a ABC’s and 123’s of course but there is so much more to be learned and explored along with those concepts.
Writing, counting, literacy concepts, math, social studies, science, music, movement, and so on are all things that can be explored with young children.
I enjoy doing lots of hands on activities that include building, art, creating, exploring, cutting, painting, and other tactical activities that engage a young child.

This my also include bringing in guest speakers, going on field trips, starting projects that are spread over a period of time to complete, or simple day to day activities.
Busy hands equal busy minds!!! At the end of the year I want my students to have had a full rounded experience and see that school is not a place to dread but a place to look forward to coming to everyday.

I do as much as I can out of pocket without asking parents , who may find it difficult to do, to give anything.
I want them to know that their child will have the same level of experience if they can give or not.
Things can get tight at times around theme heavy holidays like Halloween, Fall festivities, Christmas, Valentines, end of the year activities etc and going of field trips.
When there is no one to sponsor my students at the time they just miss out.

Its a struggle at times to do all that I’d like with my students and be able to match that enthusiasm financially so I am imploring the public to help if they can.
I am getting craftier every year and will utilize cost free items like cardboard boxes, tubes, plastic bottles, old wrapping paper, you name it, I have used it, but there are times however, that I can not make something because I don’t have the correct materials or a proper amount and those things simply have to be purchased.
You would be amazed how far one dollar goes!!!  One place is the local Dollar Tree.

It is awesome as they have tons of things that can be utilized inside the classroom…..however there are just times where I don’t have all the dollars I need.
I have included a link to my Facebook group page where I post some examples of the projects and experiences I have involved my students in during past school years.

I will also be updating the page weekly when the new school year begins so those that were able to donate can see just what my busy minds and busy hands have been up to.

I will be happy to explain that email address in a future update as it is a funny story behind it.

So thank you to all who took the time out to read this and I hope you are able to give a little bit as it will go a very, very long way.
Here is to looking forward to a great 2017-2018 school year!!!
